Mesmer build
This was geared more towards pvp but I was thinking it would work perfectly fine in pve too.
Attributes:
8+minor rune fast casting
6+minor rune Illusion magic
11+superior+mask domination
10+minor rune inspiration magic
The attributes aren't set in stone but this is what I found worked best for me but feel free to play around with them.
Now for the skills,
Profession: Mesmer/Elementalist
Backfire
Shatter Enchantment
Glyph Of Renewal
Guilt
Empathy
Spirit Of Failure
Distortion
(Optional)
Most of them are pretty self explanatory except for the Glyph. Its mostly used for shame since it has such a long recharge time but you could also use it to spam anything else.
For the optional slot you can take either:
a) a rez of some kind
b) shame for monks. This depends on which mission you are doing (if you use it for pve)
c) another glyph, perhaps glyph of lesser energy for backfire or something if you are running low on energy.
d) an interrupt. Self-explanatory.
I tried it in Fort Aspenwood and I had pretty nice energy management with just guilt and spirit of failure and for my optional slot I brought spirit shackles for those pesky assassins who think they can kill everyone.
Leave your thoughts/suggestions here or feel free to pm me ingame at "Dude Im On Pepsi" and I'l try to answer questions or take suggestions. Just make sure that if you do message me that you tell me how I would know you otherwise I will just ignore it.
